Brazil’s national soccer team to hold a news conference on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2020, at 7:30 a.m. EST

Brazil’s soccer federation has decided to hold the first news conference of the 2022 World Cup, following reports that the team will not play in 2019 due to health reasons.

Brazil will host the 2022 tournament in 2026, and the World Cup in 2022 is scheduled to be held in Russia.

The federation has already released a statement confirming that the national team will be “not playing” during the tournament, according to a report by CNN.

The federation also said that the federation would not have an official representative in Russia in 2019.

A FIFA statement released last week said that FIFA “does not wish to speculate on the reasons for the decision.”

Brazil has qualified for the World Cups in both 2018 and 2019.

It was the last World Cup the country qualified for, in 2022.

The FIFA statement added that Brazil is “currently evaluating all options for the future of the World Football Team and we are fully committed to the team’s success.”
