Big 10 coaches have told ESPN that they will not implement the new Twitter account, with some saying they are still working with Twitter to set up the new system.ESPN.com’s Pat Forde reported Tuesday that the Big Ten coaches told him that their teams have not signed a new contract with Twitter, but that they have discussed the idea with the league office.
The tweet by Big Ten head coach Mike Riley that read, “Big Ten coaches are working on a new account for the Big 10, per sources, so I’m not going to be using it.”ESPN.org’s Dan Graziano reported that Big Ten president Mitch Daniels told reporters that Daniels would not be taking action.
