Jorge Salceo has officially signed with LG as head coach of Argentina’s national team.
Salcedo replaces Luis Figo, who has been in charge since the end of the 2018 World Cup.
The former FC Barcelona coach has a history of coaching Argentina and led the national team to the 2018 Confederations Cup final.
Salceo will replace Manuel Pellegrini, who was in charge of Argentina from the start of the 2017 World Cup, and was widely seen as the frontrunner to succeed Figo.
Salceso will take charge of the squad in 2018 and 2019.
