NFL players and their families will join the NBA’s annual All-Star game Saturday for the first time in nearly 20 years.

All of it will happen at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
But first, they’ll join a small group of celebrities and athletes who have been selected for the game.
The NBA has announced the celebrities, including two of the most famous NBA stars, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, as well as several current and former NBA players, including LeBron James, Kevin Durant, LeBron Sanders and Chris Paul.
The game is being held at the same venue that hosted the 2016 Summer Olympics, where the stars, including James and Bryant, were honored for their efforts during the Games.
The first NBA All Star game was held at San Antonio’s AT&T Center in 2019, and was watched by about 70,000 people.
NBA All Stars is a tradition that dates back to the mid-1970s when the league partnered with NBC Sports and CBS Sports to put on the event in an effort to help build the NBA brand.
In 2019, the league announced the All-star game would be held in Los Angeles, which had never hosted an All- Star game before.
The All-stars have also hosted NBA Summer League games and the NBA Development League.
The 2018-2019 NBA season is set to end on Feb. 17, 2020, with the game scheduled for April 3.
In 2020, the All Stars will begin the 2018-19 season in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The 2019-2020 NBA season will end on April 20, 2020.
The next schedule of All- Stars games is scheduled to be announced in the spring.
The last NBA All star game will be played in 2021.
